Bike MS Montana: Ride the Sky, presented by St. Vincent Regional Neuroscience Center for Brain & Spine, comes to Bozeman, Montana, on August 16 and 17. The 13th Annual "A Waiting Child" Golf Classic benefiting Wendy's Wonderful Kids and the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption will be held Monday, August 4 at the Yellowstone Country Club. This year's Tournament Celebrity is new Montana State University head basketball coach, Brian Fish. Fish joins the Bobcats after four seasons as an assistant at the University of Oregon. He has spent 18 seasons as an assistant coach and has helped advance teams to the post-season 12 times, including five NCAA appearances. Those teams have reached the 20-win mark on 13 occasions. SBA Awards to be Presented at Luncheon

The U.S. Small Business Administration and Big Sky Economic Development will host the Small Business Week Awards Luncheon, 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Billings at the Big Horn Resort, 1801 Majestic Lane, Billings on June 12. Winners of the 2014 SBA Awards in Montana will be recognized and presented with their awards at this event which also celebrates National Small Business Week.

The YWCA will hold its annual fundraising Pure-A-Palooza on June 12. For the fourth year the YWCA event will auction off purses to help support the organization's wide variety of programs that help women and families. People are asked to donate their "gently" used purses, along with cool accessories, gift certificates, gift cards, event tickets and anything that adds fun and value to the silent auction. Tickets are $35 per person, which includes food, wine, beer, and music. Included this year is a live auction of a Coach tote with an i-Pad. The event begins at 6 p.m. at the YWCA.

"Navigating Ag's Future" is the theme of the Montana Farm Bureau Federation Summer Conference planned for June 10-12 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kalispell. The Montana Farm Bureau Federation Summer Conference is when members from 11 advisory committees come together to discuss issues and work on policy resolution ideas. The advisory committees, ranging from livestock and sheep to weeds and taxation, as well as the MFB Women's Leadership and Young Farmer and Rancher committees, have business meetings and hear from relevant speakers. Hot topics this year include sage grouse, the EPA's overreach of water regulations, tax reform and dealing with noxious weeds.
