Compton has owned and operated The Circuit Women In Fitness, since 2011.

Montana Chamber Plans Annual Meeting in Billings


Successful Montana businessman and now Gubernatorial candidate Greg Gianforte will address the Montana Chamber of Commerce, the states ‘leading business advocate’ at our Annual Meeting. Greg will keynote the luncheon at noon, Thursday, October 27 at the Northern Hotel in Billings.

NAIA Women’s Basketball Coming to Billings


Billings will be the “new home” for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Division I Women’s Basketball National Championships at Rimrock Auto Arena for the next two years, March 15-21, 2017 and March 14-20, 2018.
The news was announced at a press conference, where dignitaries lauded the community effort to win the event. Visit Billings and Rocky Mountain College were foremost in the efforts, and they will serve as the official hosts.

Edward Jones Office Moves to Parkhill


Michael A. Vondra, investment advisor with Edward Jones, announced that he has moved his office to 1645 Parkhill Drive, Ste. 5, from 1010 Central Ave. He is joined by Linda Nevins, Sr. Branch Office Administrator and Lynda Rux, Branch Office Administrator.

Foreclosure Rates in Billings Decrease


CoreLogic data reveals that the rate of Billings area foreclosures among outstanding mortgage loans was 0.37 percent for July 2016, a decrease of 0.07 percentage points compared with July 2015 when the rate was 0.44 percent. Foreclosure activity in Billings was lower than the national foreclosure rate, which was 0.93 percent for July 2016. It was also lower than the statewide average of 0.40 percent in July, also down from a year ago when it was 0.44 percent.

Making Billings the Daytona for Indian Relay Racing


Just as Daytona Beach is noted as the home of NASCAR, members of the Professional Indian Horse Racing Association (PIHRA) hope to make Billings synonymous with Indian Relay Races. Having held their national championship in Billings for the first time last year, with great success, Metra Park’s Grandstand will once again be the venue September 22-25.

There are a lot of ideas about what improvements could most benefit Billings. Most are good ideas, but not all are achievable given that resources are always limited.
